It is my pleasure to share with you this update, my first as CEO for the fund. We have a bright future ahead of us and I am pleased to share where we are headed.
This year marks our 25th anniversary as a corporate Commonwealth entity. As a Long Service Leave fund, we have a strong history dating back to 1949, a history that we are very proud of and will continue to honour. Our focus is on the future; leveraging the expertise and knowledge we have gained from our past, whilst adapting and being agile to more up-to-date opportunities and challenges. We remain committed to achieving our strategic objectives outlined in our Corporate Plan
One of the first changes you will notice is a new brand. From this point forward, we are going to refer to ourselves as Coal LSL and would encourage you to do the same. Our look and feel will be refreshed, conveying a modern, corporate tone whilst continuing to recognise our association to the Australian Government.
This new brand is one of many changes we’re making over the coming months. Our future direction will see an optimised business model, and an investment in technology solutions to improve our service delivery and interactions with you.
Over the coming months, I will continue to share with you progress on our strategic objectives and improvements to our business.
