Changes to Employer Reimbursement Rules - effective 1 July 2017
After extensive consultation with the Industry working party group, the Board of Coal LSL have approved the Employer Reimbursement Rules 2017 (2017 Rules).
The 2017 rules will become effective from 1 July 2017 and revoke the previous rules, providing greater financial benefit to our employer group.
Under the 2017 rules, on administrative approval, a reimbursement claim will be fully reimbursed to an employer. This change will remove the financial imposition known as ‘shortfalls’ experienced in some instances by employers under the current rules.
Streamlining our process
We have made some small changes to our current process to make interacting with us more effective:
- A new email address is available for all your claims (reimbursements and refunds) - firstname.lastname@example.org. This email will deliver your claims directly to the team for processing
- We have introduced a new Application for Reimbursement claim form. The new claim form can be submitted to us in excel format, by acknowledging the declaration.
