Employers are familiar with the mammoth task of monthly levy reporting to ensure their eligible employees are covered for their long service leave entitlement.
We are pleased to inform that online submission of the monthly Levy Advice form is becoming a reality with our new Levy Loader technology.
Levy Loader will enable online validation and submission of monthly Levy Advice forms. It will check and validate levy data, instantly providing information about any errors to be resolved before a Levy Advice form can be submitted to Coal LSL for processing.
A phased approach to enrolling employers for Levy Loader will commence from September and is expected to take six months to complete. This is designed to ensure employers are sufficiently supported as they start using the platform.
Coal LSL will contact employers directly when ready to enrol their organisation onto Levy Loader. In the meantime, use of the current Levy Advice form and process must continue.

Levy Loader is a web-based platform tailored by Coal LSL to enable online upload, validation and submission of monthly Levy Advice forms. It works on a secure site accessible via a standard internet browser, with the exception of Internet Explorer.

Once we’re ready to enrol your organisation, we’ll send you an email with the information you need to set up your access. Until then, you must continue to use the existing Levy Advice form and process.
Yes. While we have a phased approach to enrolling employers, to ensure everyone is supported well for this change, ALL employers will be required to use the Levy Loader to submit their monthly Levy Advice form.
Effective as of September 2021, and replacing any information previously provided on authorised users: Levy Loader users replace the authorised contacts we have on file for an organisation.
For that reason, Levy Loader users should include everyone that should be appointed as a contact that can liaise with Coal LSL about long service leave matters, and not be restricted to those who are actively administering levy information for your organisation.
Authorised contacts must be managed via Levy Loader once enrolled; submitting changes by filling an Update Contact Details Form or via the Employer Portal is no longer necessary.
Be assured that you and your team will be well supported when it’s your turn to make this change.
While the technology is intuitive, we understand that some processing staff may need additional support with this change: training resources will also be available.
The Primary Contact of an organisation will have to nominate Levy Loader users for their organisation.
To uphold a strict level of security, Primary Contacts must provide a unique email address for each nominated users; a same email address cannot be used to sign up multiple users on Levy Loader (effective as of September 2021, and replacing any information previously provided on email addresses).
Once you have access, you will be required to submit your monthly Levy Advice form via Levy Loader; email submissions will no longer be accepted.
You will have to use a new Levy Advice form that works within the Levy Loader. But don’t worry, it’s similar to what you’ve been using already.
Once you’ve uploaded your form, you may receive alerts about data errors from Levy Loader. You will be required to resolve these before your form can be accepted for processing.
No. Levy Advice forms will continue to be required on the 28th of the month for the previous month, as they are now.
Levy Loader is built on an established secure Salesforce platform and, as a result, inherits stringent security protocols of both Salesforce and Coal LSL’s infrastructure. The Salesforce domain uses a secure connection (https) and is protected by a security certificate, reducing the vulnerabilities associated with email transfer.

Please continue to use the current Levy Advice form and follow the current process until you hear from us directly.
Yes, as part of continuous improvement, we will adapt the platform as required. We will update all users on significant improvements as they occur.
Note that this phase of Levy Loader does not include submission of back-levies or adjustment levies, which are planned for a future phase.
Yes. The existing employer self-service portal is separate to this technology and will remain available for your ongoing administrative needs.
